Charts today showing the age related distribution of the main respiratory viruses and comparing them with the general population. RSV affects both young (predominantly) and old, flu about equally across age groups, Covid-19 predominantly the older generation. No diagnostics, just reporting by chart.

Been searching. Found:

  • Invitation to or notice of (or something) my grandparents’ wedding, 31st July 1912
  • Ditto for grandad’s sister’s wedding 1914
  • Postcard greeting sent to all serving men at Christmas 1914 from King George V and Queen Mary
  • A business card with the address of grandad’s sweetshop and tobacconist shop thereon. He had it post WWI to WWII. I still have some of the dishes used to display sweets
  • A photo of Beer, the place where mum did her probationary year for teaching in 1935 or 1936
  • Several hundred photos and postcards from about 1913 to 1972. The postcards of some of the places may have historical significance

I am now making plans to get all this into an archive. Shoving it online somewhere may well be on the cards so that the historical pics can be used.
