Lovely weather.
Meteorological Summer starts tomorrow.
Rain is forecast for Wednesday.
Was it up and at it this morning? It was intended to be but the best laid plans of mice and men didn’t.
However things got done, including quite an amount of washing which has now almost dried. The living room is much clearer. Breakfast revolved round coffee. Lunch revolved round the microwave. Supper revolved round how I could make food taste more interesting, so it was baked asparagus with garlic and parmesan, crusted pork steaks, differently done this time, and creamed spud. In between this activity was the receipt of the last eight of the Little Quick Fix books about writing dissertations. I will now digest them so that I can point students in their direction.
Other than that, the magnum opus has got some attention. Next week it’s marking and making contact with prospective students.
Commenting on fires started by barbecues, lack of social distancing and leaving litter could take up a lot of time., so I’ll just leave it as “What’s wrong with these people??
