Covid variants – marking and referral upwards

The JN.1 variant looks to be responsible for almost nineteen in twenty cases, data up to 31st March. I wonder if a new variant will emerge?

Two former chars of the Post Office “did not realise” that the organisation itself was prosecuting victims of the Horizon IT scandal. They thought it was the police or CPS. Didn’t anyone have the nous to tell them?

Today has been marking resit submissions. Not many made an effort that has made a difference for them. It makes me wonder about their work ethic. The weekend will be more of the same, then I’ll be getting the excuses when the results are published. And creating the Academic Misconduct reports takes a load of time.
