Honour

Delighted to say that my wife’s aunt has been awarded the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for voluntary services to the community in Leicestershire. As far as we know (and we get confused with how many organisations she’s involved with) she works with a number of disability services and organisations and holds committee positions on a number of them. We can’t mention the organisations by name as firstly we’re unsure of their exact names and we don’t want to leave any out.

She still continues with this work despite having failing sight and not being in the best of health.

  1. Great news, good to hear when an award goes to someone who deserves it.

Hope someone in your family gets the chance to accompany her.
