And I’m pleased. Some people who said they had difficulty with maths at the start of the semester have produced exceptionally good results. I hope that they recognise their achievement when they read their results and don’t just think that it’s just “maths out of the way”. They’ll be revisiting it throughout their working lives and hopefully be better managers for being able to recognise some of the vagaries of the numerical world during any future employment.
